Most kitchens in Berkeley will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

This is the most authentic Açaí you'll find in the bay area. The same brand can be found in Rio and I can confirm that their Açaí is very similar. I personally am not a great fan of their product. It's a bit on the watery side and overly sweet. But great Açaí is really hard to come by here. This is really the best you can get. I'm a bit of a stickler with my Açaí. Maybe because their product is pasteurized, which at least make it very safe. The price is very high for what they offer. I paid $20+ tips for the big one. For that price you are better off ordering without any toppings, but your own granola at a different place. Never order from Doordash as their prices are much higher. Go straight to their website or order at the counter. They don't offer any type of seating either inside or outside so you have to take it home anyway or eat at your car anyway. Parking is also very hard to find in the area. Typical downtown Berkeley.

The acai bowl was good, but the fact that it's inside a cup rather than a bowl makes it a messy experience. You also get less toppings, since there is less surface area. The strawberry on my bowl was sad and starting to go bad. The powdered milk add-on isn't mixed into the acai, so I personally would not choose that add-on again. For the price, it's kind of disappointing. There are other acai bowl places within walking distance.

Great Acai! I got the Hazelnut bowl, and it was super yum! I got the 12oz classic size, and it was a little pricey but also pretty heavy because you have the option for unlimited toppings. However, make sure you check if they've put all the toppings. The workers forgot to put 2 of my toppings, so I had to go back and ask them to put it! Apart from that, the workers and the owner are pretty sweet. Again, I wish they had a small table / stools / bench outside where I could sit and enjoy my Acai bowl :)

I love that they have unlimited toppings for their build-your-own bowls for a affordable price! And a pretty wide variety! BUT its a super small acai place, I wouldn't plan to sit and eat there. I don't love the containers they put their acai "bowls" in (it's literally just your acai bowl in a smoothie cup). If you like to top your bowls heavily, it's hard to open the container without spilling on yourself so get a few extra napkins before you leave.
